The Swansea Building Society was founded as a mutual Building Society in 1923 and last year celebrated its 100 year anniversary. The Society’s principal objective is the provision of loans secured on residential property particularly in the South and West Wales areas. These loans are funded by personal savings deposited in a variety of savings accounts offered by the Society via its four branches across South Wales. The Society has a branch in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan at 75 High Street which is open Monday to Friday until 4.45pm and Saturday mornings (excluding bank holidays) for savings and mortgage enquiries.
